Trio di Parma SCHUBERT Piano Trio D898 - Adagio D897

The Trio di Parma was formed in 1990 at the A. Boito Conservatory of music in Parma, Italy, and went on to further studies with the Trio di Trieste at the Fiesole School of Music in Florence and the Accademia Chigiana in Siena. In 2000 the Trio was invited to partecipate in the Isaac Stern Chamber Music Workshop at Carnegie Hall in New York.  
The Trio di Parma has won for itself the highest acclaim at the Concorso Internazionale "Vittorio Gui" in Florence, Italy, as well as the international chamber music competitions of Melbourne (Australia),  ARD Munich (Germany) and Lyon (France).  In 1994, the Trio was awarded the Abbiati Prize by the Italian National Association of Music Critics as best chamber music ensemble.
The members of the Trio di Parma regularly hold instrumental courses at the Conservatory in Novara, the Mozarteum in Salzburg and the Conservatory in Parma where the Trio also holds the Master di Alto Perfezionamento for chamber music.
